Our specially curated experiences at Hampi are themed around the most significant and engaging aspects of its history, mythology, architecture, commerce and political life, which come alive in its striking monuments, magnificent temples and soul-stirring landscapes.

Introductory Presentation
There will be a 10 minute 'Introduction to Hampi' presentation every morning at 8:00 AM and every evening at
3:45 PM, before guests depart for the tours.

Raya Trail
This trail will take you back five hundred years, to the life and times of the Rayas. You will learn about their lifestyle, their culture, social and political lives and the magnificent structures of the royal city.
Places to Visit: Devaraya’s Palace, Royal Mint, Audience Hall, Secret Chamber, Stepped Tank, Mahanavami Dibba (Great Platform), Hazara Rama

Vithalapura Walk
Walk through the ancient market and the temples of Vithalapura – a Hampi suburb known for the famous Vijaya Vithala temple that houses the renowned Stone Chariot and musical pillared mantapa.

Tungabhadra Trek
A hike by the Tungabhadra river that takes you over gently sloping paths and boulders, to explore the ruins, including that of the Achyutaraya Temple, set in picturesque locations and mythical lores from the Ramayana.

Virupaksha Trail
A leisurely but enlivening walk up the Hemakuta hill – home to many temples built across centuries and culminating at the Virupaksha Temple, sacred to the Rayas of Vijayanagara.

Nature Trail
A Naturalist led guided walk conducted through the scrub and fields along village roads just outside our resort campus. As the area is rich with about 200 species of birds, the nature walk can be tailor-made for serious bird watchers, if required.

Story Corner
An evening of storytelling by our historians who will bring the history of the Vijayanagara Empire alive through their stories. Its history, mythology and the memories glorified – a tribute to the greatest empire in South India.

You need to have a good general fitness for all our activities that require walking

Kindly wear dull-coloured clothes that blend with the surroundings for nature related activities

Comfortable walking shoes are a must for all activities that require walking

You are in a rural area that is adjacent to a wilderness area. Keep doors & windows closed during dusk to keep insects away. Lock the door while leaving the room

Smoking, littering, loud noise and usage of electronic devices is prohibited
during all activities -
Guest are cautioned not to wander around outside the Palace premises or other unlit areas after dark. The management will not accept any responsibilities in case of an accident.

Considering the widespread nature of the place, we request parents to ensure that children are properly supervised at all times

Caution: You are reminded again that you are in a rural area. Do not venture out alone outside the palace boundary without a guide. You are intruding into the habitat of wild animals. Be respectful and careful.

Respect our cultural and natural heritage, while on our walks/ trails please wear subdued clothing, proper walking shoes and maintain silence. Do not smoke or litter while visiting the monuments
